With over 18 years of programming experience, the professionals at Northeast Wilderness Experience are ready to take you on one of their guided Pocono Mountain adventures. There is an experience for everyone ranging from kayaking and stand up paddleboarding to rappelling and snowshoeing. You can even contact them to schedule a mountain biking adventure, river tubing, and hiking.
Even if you don’t have the proper equipment but want to take part in an activity, Northeast Wilderness Experience has daily equipment rentals. Rentals require at least a day’s notice and delivery can be scheduled for an additional fee. The offices are located on Main Street in Honesdale, PA. They are open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Northeast Wilderness Experience holds fun events throughout the year. This past April, they held the Wayne County Canoe Classic. In February, adventure seekers participated in the Hearts in the Snow snowshoeing adventure and the Canal Tour Snowshoe.
