About the Inn
Discover simple pleasures at the Settlers Inn
A meticulously restored Arts & Craft Lodge in the Lake Region of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains boasting native Chestnut Wood Beams, Bradbury & Bradbury hand screened Wallpapers, Fulper handcrafted tiles, a Stickley Grandfather’s Clock, a collection of Arts and Crafts Pottery and Mission Style furnishings. Our hospitality extends from the head to the heart to the hand.
Gather with friends or family in the inn’s many comfortable common spaces. Bask in a summer’s day on the terrace, or stroll the colorful Garden and the banks of the meandering Lackawaxen River. Take a spin around town on one of the bikes on our front porch. Walk out the front door to the Bingham Park and Riverwalk Trail to our sister property, Ledges Hotel, where you are invited to relax on one of the many decks and surround yourself in the natural beauty of the waterfalls and gorge. From there you can walk to Cocoon Coffee House and The Hawley Silk Mill.
Stroll through the garden and step into The Potting Shed. The charming Craftsman-style gift shop boasts items inspired by and celebrating nature.
Being good stewards of our environment means providing green programs whenever possible. That’s why you’ll find Tesla Charing Stations on site and free of charge to our guests.
Award Winning Restaurant
Savor the freshness of our chef-owned, farm-to-table restaurant. Wine is an integral part of The Settlers Inn dining experience. In fact, for more than ten years, Wine Spectator magazine has granted the Inn’s extensive wine list an Award of Excellence. Finish up with an after-dinner sip in front of The Chestnut Tavern’s roaring fire.
Come and stay here. You will treasure your time at this lodge in the Pennsylvania countryside, or visit one of our sister properties. Ledges Hotel is just a mile away, Silver Birches Resort is just 4 miles away located on the shoreline of Lake Wallenpaupack or, if you plan to visit the Lehigh Valley, stay at our elegant urban inn in Bethlehem – the Sayre Mansion.
