Wally Lake Fest is the biggest event of the year in the Northern Pocono Mountains! There are so many fun events planned for this year’s three-day weekend, you won’t want to miss a moment of the fun. Here is our list of can’t miss events at the 11th annual Wally Lake Fest.
Wally Lake Fest takes place August 27- 29. Downtown Hawley Partnership hosts the event along with presenting sponsors Lighthouse Harbor Marina and Silver Birches Resort. With everything from live music on the lake to wonderful artisan craft fairs, you are sure to find plenty of fun things to keep you busy. Jazz on the Deck right here at The Settlers Inn kicks off the festivities. Spencer and Nancy Reed perform from 6 to 9 p.m. You can enjoy cocktail service in the garden or an elaborate prix fix BBQ buffet on the deck. The Settlers Inn also hosts the Wally Lake Fest Brunch on Saturday and Sunday with complimentary bottomless mimosas and a farm-to-table menu for $39 per person.
Cocoon Coffee House and Bakery is home to the popular Mojito Ice Bar from noon until 6 p.m. on Saturday. Presented by Don Q Rum, enjoy a beverage made with fresh local fruit, mint and Don Q Rum served at a custom ice bar created by Sculpted Ice Works. While you are at the Hawley Silk Mill, be sure to visit their Artisan Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday You’ll find artisans, crafts and local food among the offerings.
Our sister property, Ledges Hotel, is the hot spot on Sunday night for their Blues, Brews and BBQ from 6 to 9 p.m. Dustin Douglas and The Electric Gentleman will provide the evening’s entertainment.
Silver Birches Resort hosts music all three nights. You won’t want to miss Tito’s Pod with live music by Sera Bullis at Capt. Wally’s Lakeside Cove on Friday from 7-10 p.m.
In addition to these top events, there are other festivities planned all over Hawley. Friday night’s activities include the Wallenpaupack Scenic Boat Tour and a performance at the Ritz Company Playhouse. On Saturday, stop by the Boat, Watercraft and Outdoor Show, Wallypalooza, the Vendor Fair and Markets, sailboat rides and the Car Cruise of Hawley.
