It’s Time for the Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods
The hills around Bethel Woods Center for the Arts do not go silent when summer fades. Instead, the historic site turns its attention to the talents of the area’s artisans, crafters and specialty businesses. The Annual Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods takes place every Sunday from August 27 through October 1. The event features over 80 vendors and is one of the most anticipated fall festivals in the area.
The festival is the perfect addition to an early autumn getaway in the Pocono Mountains. Stay at The Settlers Inn and take advantage of spectacular weather, smaller crowds and stunning scenery. The short 30-mile drive from Hawley, PA to Bethel, NY traverses quiet country roads and quaint river towns. Be sure to download our Free Delaware Highlands Vacation Guide, chock-full of the best places to see and things to do during your visit to the area.
Harvest Festival ushers in the season with six fun, free, family friendly events. Each week incorporates a new theme into the collection of quality vendors, which includes crafters, a farmer’s market, beer, wine, spirits and food. Live music, a creative learning tent, corn and hay mazes plus horse and buggy rides enhance the festival atmosphere. On September 3, Bethel, NY based Rosehaven Alpacas brings a large selection of its handmade goods and friendly Alpacas to the festival. Shop the farm’s line of yarn, roving, rugs, socks, hats, gloves and luxury boutique items and meet some of the animals.
