Harvest Festival

Every year, the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts hosts The Harvest Festival.  The Harvest Festival takes place on every Sunday from August 27 through October 1 and is celebrating its 24th year.  This free event is fun for the whole family with a farmer’s market, a corn maze, a craft village and much more. Festivities begin each Sunday at 11 a.m.

Hawley Harvest Hoedown

Events throughout the day on Saturday September 20 and Sunday October 1 include brews, contests, demonstrations, family activities, crafts, fresh locally grown foods, local maple syrup, pies, local business specials and deals. Oktoberfest events at The Vault on Main Street take place from noon to 6 pm.

Black Bear Film Festival

The town of Milford, PA hosts the Black Bear Film Festival every year on the weekend after Columbus Day.  The 23rd annual Black Bear Film Festival takes place October 13 through 15, showcasing 25 films over the course of three days at the Historic Milford Theatre. The festival supports innovative and independent films, artistic expression, education, diversity and cultural enhancement.  The Film Salon at the Pike County Public Library will hold Q&A with the filmmakers and special guests. Tickets begin at $10 for a single ticket for Saturday and Sunday films.

Jim Thorpe Fall Foliage Weekends

Celebrate the fall season at Jim Thorpe Fall Foliage weekends in Jim Thorpe, PA.  On the weekends of October 7-8, 14-15, and 21-22 and 28-29 the town comes alive with arts and crafts, food vendors, live entertainment, nightly ghost walks and a scarecrow contest.  Children of all ages will enjoy the kids’ activities and scenic train rides. The weekends will take place from Mauch Chunk Lake Park to the Opera House.
